Kate Middleton was born in 1982 in Reading, Berkshire. She is the oldest of three children of Carole Elizabeth and Michael Francis Middleton. Kate's parents made a fortune in their mail order company.
Kate loves to put beautiful dress. She was featured in a number of magazines and the Daily Telegraph named her as the "Most Promising Newcomer" in its 2006.
William or his full name, Prince William Arthur Philip Louis of Wales, was born in the same year as Kate in 1982. He is the eldest son of Charles, Prince of Wales, and Diana, Princess of Wales. Being the first grandson of Queen Elizabeth II, he is second in the line of succession. His father Charles is the next in line to the throne.
They met when they were both freshmen at the University of St Andrews in Scotland
They were engaged on 16 November 2010 and planned to marry on 29 April 2011 in Westminster Abbey. That followed the foot step of his parents. Many prayed that they will lead a happy and meaningful life. The stories of the miseries in Charles and Dianna are still fresh in the memories of many peoples.
Both "Kate and William" made their first public appearance on Saturday night at a cancer fund raising charity in Norfolk. This is their first public appearance since their engagement.
